Artist’s Statement:

Sarah Fuhrman lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Her works have been shown throughout NYC, along the East coast and in LA. Fuhrman is a painter of landscape & life, nostalgia & dreams. The work(s) included in this show reference spaces housed deep in her memory from her place of origin in upstate New York, but yield to a deeper formation of exploratory world or map making. She considers these works to be landscapes of the human soul, mind, body & spirit, housing rich contexts of an inner world that forms actively over time & through space.
