About
Working without a permanent exhibition space, Yellow Cat develops site-responsive exhibitions, artist projects, and temporary installations in collaboration with galleries, museums, alternative spaces, and cultural organizations.
The project focuses on artists whose work combines strong visual languages with psychological, social, and historical inquiry. Exhibitions frequently bring together painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, installation, and new media to explore themes of identity, mythology, memory, technology, belief systems, and contemporary culture.
Since 2021, Yellow Cat has organized exhibitions and curatorial projects throughout New York, including presentations at the SPRING/BREAK Art Show, Raynham Hall Museum, Gallery OneTwentyEight, Space 776, and other independent venues.
Rather than maintaining a fixed exhibition program, Yellow Cat operates as a flexible curatorial platform, producing projects in response to specific sites, communities, and conversations.
