Description
Mandy Henson is a British-born artist with a BFA in Fine Arts Education from Parsons School of Design and the School of Visual Arts and an MFA from Long Island University. She has lived and worked in England, Australia, and New York, drawing inspiration from diverse artistic traditions. In addition to her studio practice, she is an experienced educator, teaching at the Art League of Long Island in Dix Hills. Her ceramic piece, Armour #1, was recently awarded an Award of Excellence at the Art League of Long Island’s juried Figuratively Speaking exhibition. Mandy’s work spans painting, sculpture, and mixed media, exploring the intersections of art, culture, and nature.
